Chris Evans aka Captain America opens up about his role and why he was initially reluctant to take up this much loved character from MCU. Avengers: Endgame which broke all box office records across the globe to become the highest grossing film in the world. While talking to We Got This Covered, actor Chris Evans said about the film, Captain America: The First Avenger that he was so unsure about the role that he went to seek therapy. The actor was scared of the changes in the lifestyle and the commitment that would be need for the film from Chris Evans.
The superstar further adds that he would like to play the lead in a film, but not always be a part of the big budget projects. Chris Evans also said that he wanted the liberty to walk out of any project if he felt like, but being a part of a six film deal will make that impossible. Chris Evans who essayed Captain America says that he like to have the element of anonymity. The actor who has acted in several blockbuster hits says that he likes to keep his life away from the limelight.
Chris Evans while talking about the films also added that he cannot afford to make any film he likes and has to be very careful in choosing his projects. On becoming Captain America, Chris Evans says that as long as he thought about the role, it made him nervous and his friends told him to not make a decision while being fearful about it.
