Carrie Underwood while attending the 2019 CMT Music Awards, spoke briefly about her experience of being a mother to a newborn child. Carrie who welcomed a baby boy with husband Mike Fisher was ecstatic about sharing her feelings. Carrie said that it was the best feeling to see her newborn snuggle and how she wants to be around him all the time. She further added how she enjoys smelling her little one as he has grown a little chubby over time.
The night of the 2019 CMT Music Awards turned out to be a sweet and delightful night for Underwood as she bagged two awards. She took home the award for the 'Video of the Year' for 'Cry Pretty' and another for 'Female Video of the Year' for the song 'Love Wins.' This is something Underwood will cherish for a really long time as these wins came at a time when she was experiencing maternal bliss.
Carrie recalls how over the past years her fans have expressed their love and affection towards her, but she also never fails to mention that her biggest fan is her son Isaiah. While talking about how she celebrated her big wins, Carrie jokingly said, she celebrated by catching on some much-needed sleep. Being a mother to a newborn is a task and a rather challenging task at that. Hence, whenever time allows she does manage to get some rest, as most of the other times her newborn keeps her awake.
