Captain Marvel accidentally REVEALS major Game of Thrones spoiler for Tony Stark aka Iron Man
In Iron Man #14, Captain Marvel betrays Tony Stark by accidentally revealing a major spoiler from Game of Thrones Season 8. Initially, Tony had wiped out the last few episodes from GOT's final season, as well. Read below for more details.
While we are still hungover on Avengers: Endgame and also looking forward to MCU's (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Phase 4 lineup, there is always the Marvel comics to rely on! Whether you are a fan or not, it's interesting to see our favourite superheroes in different shades of light! As per IronMan #14, Tony Stark is currently in a virtual world called eScape. While in his digital form, Tony is busy battling his inner demons and has become an alcoholic again.
After leaving that paticular world behind, he still wants to drink and hence wipes his memory clean, as he is a digital copy of his former self. So, now he is sober but things are still bad. Stark also wiped out the last few episodes of Game of Thrones from his memory. When Captain Marvel comes to his rescue from the Spymaster (he is controlling Tony's suits and has acquired his erased memories and passcodes), Stark explains that the duo has to knock out the central control node. In doing so, the controlled drones would cease to exist.
While explaining the domino effect, Carol Danvers compares it to a major GOT spoiler. *SPOILERS ALERT* "Gotcha. Like Arya dusting The Night King in Game of Thrones," Carol proudly states.
However, to Tony's shock, he had no idea about the spoiler and hence, Game of Thrones was ruined for Iron Man.
