Captain Marvel 2: Tom Holland's Spider Man to fall head over heels for Brie Larson's Carol Danvers?
A new report is doing the rounds suggesting that Captain Marvel 2 could be in the marking. If that isn't news enough, rumour has it that Brie Larson starrer could feature Spider-Man aka Peter Parker growing a crush on Carol Danvers.
Marvel Studios has been tight-lipped about the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although they have announced the projects that will be released under MCU Phase 4, the production house has been tight-lipped about the possible plot lines and comic books that would be explored in the new Marvel movies. However, a new report suggests a storyline that would be explored in Brie Larson's Captain Marvel 2. Yes, we know, Marvel Studios hasn't discussed that Captain Marvel 2 is happening. However, a new report suggests that the new movie is happening and it would feature Spider-Man in it.
If a report in Cosmic Book News is to be believed, Tom Holland's superhero is expected to appear in Captain Marvel 2. Not only does the report tease a crossover but it also suggests the possibility of Peter Parker falling for Carol Danvers. Fans would remember Peter crossing paths with Carol in the epic Avengers: Endgame battle. When Peter was given the task to take the Iron Gauntlet to Tony Stark, Carol and other female superheroes united to help Peter reach Tony while protecting him from Thanos.
The new report now suggests that Peter develops a crush on Carol after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. If the rumour is true, it could lead to a possible complicated love triangle between Peter, Carol and Zendaya's Michelle, that is if Peter and Michelle are still dating post the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
