BTS squashes breakup rumours: As long as our bodies hold up, we'll be doing the same thing in 10 years
When it was revealed that BTS will be going on an extended period of rest, many speculated that the popular K-pop band may be breaking up for good. However, the members of the band were quick to squash those rumours in a recent interview.
Back in August 2019, it was announced that the popular K-pop band BTS will be going on an extended "period of rest" after working consecutively for six years straight. However, their management BigHit Entertainment revealed just a month later that it was back to work for The Bangtan Boys. RM, Jungkook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin and J-Hope recently renegotiated with BigHit for a seven-year extension contract which means that whatever rumours of a potential breakup emerged during their vacation period can now be put to rest!
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jimin spoke about how the band is having a lot of fun singing and dancing and that they are not compelled to be in BTS. "We're not really compelling each other to keep this going. It's nothing like that. We just have so much fun together singing and dancing that we want it to continue," Jimin shared. Mirroring Jimin's stance is Suga who stated, "As long as our bodies hold up, we'll be doing the same thing in 10 years."

ARMY can definitely breathe a sigh of relief now with this amazing news!

When it comes to comparisons with other K-pop bands, RM stated that BTS' ideology is not just being better but being the best in the game. "We have to consider ourselves not just better [than other K-pop acts], but the best. When we're out there on that stage, we're there to conquer. We think we're the ones," RM confessed to THR.
