The BTS Army doesn't need any more reasons to love the boy band. But the boys never fail to surprise and put a smile on the faces of their fans. The latest one to do that is singer BTS' RM who made a generous donation towards a good cause. According to a report in The Korea Times, RM made a generous donation of 100 million to help students with impaired hearing. RM made the donation as he celebrated his birthday this month on 12th September. As per the report, the funds were sent to Seoul Samsung School to help a group of students receive music education.
A school official told news agency Yonhap, "RM made the donation, expressing his will to help students with hearing difficulties enjoy music through various means." Well, this isn't the first time the BTS members have donated large sums of money. Their philanthropic efforts are well-known to the world.
As per People, BTS has in the past also teamed up with UNICEF Korea for an anti-violence campaign. The Bangtan Boys had also donated 3 per cent of their earnings of physical album copies from their Love Yourself series.
BTS came back into the scene after a month-long hiatus and will soon be making new music. Earlier this week, Big Hit Entertainment confirmed that the boys have returned to work and would be heading overseas for a project. They are slated to perform in Saudi Arabia this October as part of their world tour.
