BTS at MMAs 2019: ARMY stunned by Jungkook, V, Jimin, Jin, Suga, RM, J Hope's act; Watch FULL Performance
The 2019 Melon Music Awards took place over the weekend. BTS walked on stage to perform their hit tracks and stole the show.
They might have been snubbed by the Grammys but BTS proved the Grammy snub hasn't brought down their spirits down. And it was evident at the 2019 Melon Music Awards. The MMAs 2019 kicked off on November 30 and it went without saying that the ARMY sat down to witness their favourite K-Pop band set the MMAs stage on fire. The South Korean band - comprising of Jungkook, V, Jimin, Jin, Suga, RM, J Hope - put up their first award show performance since their hiatus and impressed their fans.
Last year, the boys took to the stage to perform a medley of songs from Love Yourself and it ended up being a 20-minute feast for the eyes performance. This year, the seven-member band put up a phenomenal performance by performing on songs from all their albums. While it was obvious that BTS performed on "Boy In Luv," they also recreated the magic of "Dionysus," and "Fake Love". Their mind-boggling dance moves were a cherry on the delicious icing.
RM kicked off the performance on "Persona" before the ARMY witnessed BTS come together to perform on "Boy In Luv." The K-Pop band picked “Mikrokosmos” and “Dionysus” from their 2019 Map of the Soul: Persona album and gave an out-of-this-world performance.
While the group performances were mesmerising, it was the boys' solo performances that left everyone speechless. From Jimin's solo performance on "I Need U" to Jungkook "Save Me" choreographical masterpiece and J-Hope's closing "Fake Love" act, the ARMY is going to remember MMAs 2019 for a long, long time. Apart from the performance, BTS also took home the Artist of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year with Map of the Soul: Persona, and Song of the Year with “Boy With Luv."
