Just as we got done celebrating Jungkook's birthday, we are already finding ourselves preparing for yet another BTS band member's birthday. Who are we talking about? If you are a true-blue BTS fan, you would have already guessed the answer. For the unversed, we are talking about RM. Kim Nam-joon, who goes by the stage name RM, will ring in his 24th birthday on September 12. While it is a long-ten day wait, the ARMY is kick-starting the celebrations well in advance.
According to Korean site Soompi, the singer's fans assembled to put together an extraordinary gift for their favourite K-Pop singer. The international publication reported that about 250 fans came together to build a forest for the singer. While reports across the globe share horrifying forest fire stories, RM fans decided to build a forest dedicated to the singer, Korean Federation for Environmental Movement revealed.
The fans assembled on August 31 to build the forest, which they have named “BTS RM Forest No. 1." The forest is planted in front of the Jamsil Hangang Park's clock tower. It comes as a heartwarming gesture for fans know RM has time and again shown his interest in preserving the environment. Fans have planted 1,250 spirea prunifolia, commonly known as bridal wreath spirea. We can already imagine how beautiful the plantation will look once the plants bloom.

The fan account, who came up with the idea, took to Twitter to share pictures of the gathering and wrote that next year, they are hoping to another forest dedicated to RM. BTS, which comprises of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, are on a break right now.
