BTS member Jimin & Alec Benjamin to collaborate for a song; American singer REVEALS the brainchild behind it
BTS member Jimin was spotted attending Alec Benjamin's concert a few weeks ago. The duo met and as a result, the K-Pop star and the American singer are planning to work together.
BTS is back! Which means a lot of new music is coming our way. We cannot wait to see RM, J-Hope, V, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook and Suga come together and blow our minds (and the internet) with their songs. However, Jimin could be making fans extra happy with some help from Alec Benjamin. A few weeks ago, the netizens went gaga when Jimin was spotted at Benjamin's concert in South Korea. Now, the American singer has confirmed that he is planning to collaborate with the BTS band member.
The singer spilled the beans on his plans in a new interview. He revealed he was headed for a two-month break from his tours during which he will be working on new music. He intends on collaborating with Jimin and Khalid. "I have some plans to collaborate with Khalid and also Jimin from BTS,” he said in the video doing the rounds online. The singer went on to reveal that Jimin had suggested they make a song together.
It all happened after they crossed paths courtesy Benjamin's concert. He looked back at the time he met Jimin at the former's concert and said, "I invited him to my concert because he had made a playlist online and he had 12 songs on it, and like six or seven of those songs were mine. So I was really thrilled to find out that he was a fan. When I was on my way to Korea, I had no way of communicating with him, I didn’t have his phone number or anything, so I was just like, ‘Well, I’ll just tweet BTS and ask him to come.'”
His manager called him immediately to ask him to delete the tweet explaining it would be "complete chaos" if fans would learn Jimin was attending. “I deleted the tweet and he came to the show,” he recalled. “Now we’re just like talking and friends, and he’s like, ‘We should make a song together.'” We cannot wait to get a glimpse of the song.
