BTS leader RM presented ARMY member a priceless gift during his Gangneung Buchae Gil trip last year

BTS might be forced into laying low due to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, last year, the Bangtan Boys announced they were on a break. Although the break lasted just a month, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga and V took the opportunity to distance themselves from work. The K-Pop band dispersed in different directions, with Namjoon choosing to travel through scenic locations as a part of his break. Fans were treated to photos from his trip from time to time on social media.  

During his travel, a lucky fan crossed his path and instantly recognised the singer. As per a Koreaboo.com report, a Twitter user named My Treasure (@bwDgz2TXgBRJ4Kj) took to Twitter and shared the details of her once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the BTS singer. It seems like RM was visiting the beautiful national nature monument Gangneung Buchae-Gil when the ARMY member crossed his path. 

As per the international outlet, RM reportedly signed a two-dollar bill for the fan. While it might have been valued at USD 2 dollars, it is obvious that the bill now stands priceless. As of today, it has been reported that BTS could be postponing their Map of the Soul tour date scheduled to take place in Europe and North America. The decision comes amid the Coronavirus outbreak. During a V Live session, RM had spoken candidly with ARMY about how heartbroken he was with the four scheduled Korea concerts of their Map of the Soul Tour being cancelled. "At times when I was at home these past two weeks, I would feel so much anger building up like I was going crazy. All of a sudden, I’d start yelling and feel so much anger, because I was feeling dejected. I was upset. I was upset, and I felt like there wasn’t much we could do realistically," the Persona rapper lashed out.

While there are concerns regarding the Map of the Soul Tour's cancellation, the boys are reportedly keeping faith and are practicing harder than ever on their vocals and choreography. We got a glimpse of what we can expect from BTS when they appeared on several US talk shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Moreover, BTS also performed ON and Black Swan at various music shows as their lead single got a staggering 12 wins already. When it comes to Big Hit Entertainment, the staff is currently on a work from home situation until the coronavirus scare dies down a bit. 

For the unversed, BTS is a popular K-pop band, who have taken over the globe thanks to their music. The septet formed back in 2013 and there has been no looking back for them. The Bangtan Boys have achieved great success with hit singles like Boy With Luv, Fake Love, MIC Drop, DNA and Make It Right, amongst several others. While initially being a hip-hop group, the septet eventually started testing waters in various music genres. Map of the Soul: 7's success is proof enough as the album charted #1 in the Billboard 200 while ON made it to the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart at #4. Along with 7, their previous albums Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer and Map of The Soul: PERSONA also took the #1 spot in the Billboard 200 chart. 

RM himself has been loved by ARMY as the faithful leader who is by the members' side come rain come shine. In spite of not being the eldest of the group, Namjoon has taken on the role of the leader with stride and continues to bear the responsibility with grace and humility. Whether it be his inspirational speech at The United Nations or the way he takes on the hard questions during interviews, RM is truly an idol we can get behind.
