BTS Jungkook's 'Bad Guy' dance video BEATS World Record Egg for most retweeted tweet of 2019, thanks to ARMY

Just when we thought the BTS ARMY couldn't get any crazier, they go beyond our own expectations and how! Why are we raving about BTS' fans? It all began when Twitter rolled out the Most Retweeted Tweet of 2019. The social media platform looked back at the year gone by and announced that the World Record Egg is the most retweeted tweet yet. The egg debuted on the platform in January. At the time of the announcement, BTS' June 9 tweet featuring Jungkook dancing to Billie Eilish's Bad Guy was the second most retweeted tweet of the year. 

Soon after the news made the headlines, the ARMY united and turned the tables in just one hour. The fandom came together to propel the tweet reach the top spot with over 6,000 retweets within an hour and surpassed the egg. Within an hour, the tweet went from the second spot to the top spot. At the time of reporting, the tweet has over one million retweets with 26.5 million views and the number seems to only increase. 

Soon after the record was broken, Twitter posted a tweet confirming that the BTS tweet has surpassed the egg and is officially the most retweeted tweet of 2019.
