Britney Spears REACTS to the rumours and death threats after entering a mental health treatment facility
Britney Spears's fans thought she has been put in the facility by her management and family. And now to put the rumours down, Spears broke the silence via a video. She posted a selfie video and revealed that she is all is well.
Britney Spears was in the news recently as she checked into a mental health facility. Post the same, a lot of rumours around the same started to float. #FreeBritney social media campaign by fans kicked off soon as they questioned on her being in the facility willingly. Fans thought she has been put by her management and family. And now to put the rumours down, Spears broke the silence via a video. She posted a selfie video and revealed that she is all is well.
She said, "Hi, guys just checking with all of you who are concerned for me. All is well! My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately so I needed time to deal. Don't worry I'll be back very soon." She captioned the same with a long message which read as, "I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said."
She continued, "I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago... I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address. My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment. She futher added, "You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you".

For the unversed, the singer took to Instagram to confirm that she is seeking professional medical help to help her focus on "me time."She had posted a photo of a quote which read": “Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit.”She captioned the same as, “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.’ :)”A source close to the family told PEOPLE that “Britney just needed to focus on herself” as she cares for her father Jamie after his “life-threatening” colon rupture.
