Brad Pitt to do another superhero movie after Deadpool 2? Once Upon a Time In Hollywood star spills the beans
Brad Pitt will soon be seen Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. However, the actor recently discussed the possibilities of featuring in a superhero movie. The actor had a cameo in Deadpool 2.
It appears like every Hollywood actor wants a taste of working in a superhero movie. Mahershala Ali is making his debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Blade. Angelina Jolie is also entering the superhero universe with The Eternals. As more and more stars make their way into the MCU or DC Universe, Brad Pitt was recently asked if he would feature in a superhero movie anytime soon. The Once Upon a Time In Hollywood has already featured in a superhero movie.
Fans might remember his there-but-not-there role in Deadpool 2. The actor played Vanisher, teasing the X-Force in the Ryan Reynolds starrer. His superpower abilities involved him being invisible. The actor appears on the screen only to show Vanisher's death in the movie. But will he be interested in another superhero movie? Judging by the answer he gave MTV News, it seems like the answer is a no.
"I think I've taken it as far as I can take it," Pitt told the international outlet referring to his character. The actor recalled Ryan reaching out to him for the role. Pitt said, "Ryan Reynolds came up with a part that I could fill." Avid Deadpool fans would remember that Reynolds had previously revealed Pitt asked for merely a cup of coffee.
It seems like we might not see Pitt play a superhero in an upcoming movie anytime soon. We'll have to make do with watching him taking a trip down the memory lane in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. The movie releases on August 15 in India. Apart from Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie star in the movie. The movie is directed by Quentin Tarantino.
