Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's eldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt turned the big 18 on August 5, 2019. The handsome lad is extremely close to his mother, who is proud of her son for how "wise he is beyond his years," according to Entertainment Tonight. The Eternals star has encouraged her kids to travel the world, learn many languages and even attend a university, overseas. While a family gathering is the ultimate plan to celebrate Maddox's sweet 18, Angie's munchkin already has his university set to study biochemistry. And the overseas destination? Seoul, South Korea.

According to ET, Maddox is enrolled in Yonsei University to study biochemistry. Yonsei is a private research university, which happens to be one of Korea's three SKY universities. SKY universities are considered as the most prestigious in Korea while Yonsei is one of the oldest universities in South Korea. While Maddox had been accepted to several other prominent universities, he handpicked Yonsei and has already started preparing for his move by studying the Korean language. Jolie will be travelling with Maddox, by mid-August, before his classes commence.

Maddox will be away from America but he is still closer to Angie's family home in Cambodia, which is his hometown.
