While Daniel Craig is toasting goodbye to James Bond with No Time To Die, the makers are already working on Bond 26. Just yesterday we reported that Craig and the team of Bond 25 wrapped the filming of No Time To Die. The actor got really drunk at the party and delivered an emotional speech. While details from the party made the news, a new report revealed that the Bond makers have reached out to Phoebe Waller-Bridge to pen the new Bond movie.

Phoebe, who won three Emmy Awards for Fleabag this year, has already contributed to Bond 25 and is being considered to carry on her writing duties for the new Bond movie. According to a Daily Mail report, her writing has won the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G over and they want to work with her for Bond 26 as well. "Phoebe’s contribution was great — far greater than we’d anticipated. She’s the saviour of Bond, really. She was across the entire script," a source told the UK daily.

The 26-year-old was hired by the 007 franchise to "add a layer" to Bond 25's screenplay. She was roped in with the idea of punching up the dialogue of the female characters in the movie. "Ian Fleming’s Bond is a red-blooded male, and to some ears he lives in such a misogynistic world we had to be sensitive to the changing moral landscape," an executive told the site.

Earlier this week, first pictures of Lashana Lynch from the sets of No Time To Die made its way online. The actress, who plays MI6 agent in the movie, uses the 007 codename after Craig retires. She was spotted having a light moment with co-star Lea Sedoux. No Time For Die is set to be released on 3 April 2020. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
