The makers of Bond 25 have reportedly approached Prince Charles to feature in the James Bond movie. Source reveal that the Prince of Wales is considering it.
James Bond could have some royal company in Bond 25. The James Bond movie is currently filming with Daniel Craig. The Cary Joji Fukunaga directorial will be Daniel's final movie as the 007 agent. While we are preparing ourselves to watch some edge-of-the-seat action before we bid Craig goodbye from the franchise, it seems like he will have a royal farewell in the movie. Word on the street is that Prince Charles could be seen in the movie. The first in line for the throne could make a cameo in the movie.
As per sources of The Sun, Prince of Wales is said to have been approached to star in the movie. The offer was reportedly made when the royal blood visited the sets of the movie a few weeks ago. The Queen previously featured in a clip wherein she is interacting with Daniel's James Bond at the London Olympics 2012.
A source told, "They loved the buzz around the Queen’s appearance alongside Daniel Craig and think Charles could top even that. He is the epitome of everything British, perfect for a cameo role and Bond fans worldwide would absolutely love it. "When he visited the film set a few weeks ago it was discussed. Now he is considering it. The producers are desperate to sign him," the source revealed.
It is no secret that the upcoming Bond movie has been dubbed jinxed for all the problems it has been facing. From explosions at the Pinewood Studio to Craig's injury during the filming schedule in Jamaica, the movie has had its share of problems. The source added that roping in the royal would help the franchise. “It is no secret that the film has suffered a number of setbacks but landing a Royal could be just what the movie needs," the insider shared.
