Bond 25: James Bond movie in hot waters? Rami Malek addresses 007 set issues & 'key' scenes with Daniel Craig
Bond 25 has been deemed as "cursed" owing to the director shift, Daniel Craig's injury and the recent blasts that destroyed the sets. Rami Malek assures everything is under control.
If you call yourself a huge James Bond fan, you must be aware of the recent updates from the Bond 25 movie. The movie based on the renowned agent 007 has found itself in a messy situation. The Daniel Craig movie was halted after the actor injured his leg while filming a scene. To top it off, there were a series of blasts on the sets in Pinewood Studios which injured one and destroyed the sets. There were also rumours doing the rounds suggesting that the movie is in trouble and key scenes featuring Craig and Malek were not going to be shot.
However, Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek has also given an update on the situation in a recent interview with Digital Spy. The publication assures that everything is under control. The actor, who plays the villain in the movie, confirmed that the rumours behind the key scenes not going to be shot was all "fabricated."
“The key scenes is something that was fabricated. But the thing is, Daniel was injured, so they are shooting what they can. I talked to Cary yesterday and the schedule has been altered. I know that. But with a franchise like this, I think they have it together. They have it figured out by now," he said.

The actor also revealed that he has shot most of the key scenes for the movie. But he hasn't met Craig on the sets yet. “I haven’t shot with Daniel yet, but I’m thrilled to work with him,” he said. “Daniel is an actor I greatly admire. Over the years, I think he’s put in such phenomenal performances. I found him so captivating in films like Layer Cake and, of course, the Bond films. This is another moment where I find myself pinching myself; not only to work with him, but also a director I’ve wanted to work with for so long in Cary Fukunaga. To be part of this franchise is to be part of history again," he added.
