Black Panther actor Sterling K. Brown disclose Killmonger’s death sent his son in trauma; READ INSIDE
Black Panther star Sterling K. Brown who portrayed the character of Killmonger’s father N’Jobu in Black Panther revealed something hilarious but emotional about his son recently.
Sterling K. Brown has voiced the character of Lieutenant Destin Mattias in recently released Frozen 2. The actor was promoting his film on his recent visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers. During his long conversation, he revealed about his role as N’Jobu in Black Panther and something heart-warming related to his son and Killmonger. Sterling revealed that his son had a traumatic experience when he saw Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger die in Black Panther.
Brown revealed that his 8-year-old son Andrew isn’t very much impressed with his voice acting in Frozen 2. But appreciated his acting as N’Jobu in Black Panther when the whole family went to the premiere. Sterling revealed that during the death sequence of Killmonger, Andrew started crying as he was simply traumatized by the character’s death. Sterling then said to all the stars having children, “If you take your son to a movie where the character that plays your son dies, he may have a traumatic effect,” Sterling added with a laugh. “When Killmonger died in the movie, the first time in a movie—no, ‘Pete’s Dragon’ was the first time he cried in a movie. This is the second time. But he was convulsing.”
Well, no wonder his son has all the rights to feel traumatized seeing his father’s son dying in front of him on a giant screen. But Sterling revealed the beautiful thing that happened after this. He mentioned afterwards, when we went to the after-party, he would not leave my side. “He was like, ‘When are we going home? We’re going together. Until then, I’m not leaving you.’ It was beautiful. Probably. We got introduced to the MCU pretty early.”
