The brilliant actress has never has this been more real than in her role as Mary Louise in the American television series, Big Little Lies, season two. In this season Meryl Streep's character is in deep distress over the death of her son. Perry played by Alexander Skarsgard.

In the current timeline, Alexander Skarsgard’s Perry, the ruthless wife-beating husband of Nicole Kidman’s character, Celeste, totally deserved to be pushed to death by the female stars of this series.
The death of her son has not gone down too well, with Streep's character who is grieving, skeptical of the circumstances surrounding her son's death has enough depth and some real menace causing ability all thanks to her spectacular acting. As for the fans, who were shocked and pleased at that famous scream of Meryl Streep at the dining table with her grandsons and Nicole Kidman's character, we all viewers are definitely looking forward to what is next that Streep's character will do to get the hands on the truth.
