Ben Affleck continues family tradition as he celebrates birthday with kids; ex wife Jennifer Garner stays away

Actor Ben Affleck is enjoying his life to the fullest and his latest birthday celebrations were proof of the doting dad he is. The Batman star, who recently completed one year of sobriety, celebrated his special day with his kids at a restaurant in Los Angeles. However, his ex-wife Jennifer Garner wasn't present for the sweet birthday party. A source told Page Six that the group was “in good spirits” munching on signature dishes. “He (Ben ffleck) was having a great time … The desserts came out with sparklers to celebrate,” the source added.
As per reports, the Afflecks have a standing tradition of celebrating Ben’s birthday at the quirky eatery. During the celebration, the actor was spotted sipping on an aerated beverage and his kids showered him with gifts and wishes. Just recently Ben successfully managed to complete 365 days of sobriety. The Batman star, who battled alcoholism, sought treatment and checked himself into rehab for a third time last year and since completing his stay, Ben has managed to stay clean.
He has also shifted his focus on his family and his health. Not just that, Ben's ex-wife Jennifer Garner has also been supportive through out. According to a report in People, Ben Affleck has been doing better than ever after he underwent rehab for a 40-day period in 2018. A source told the entertainment portal, "Ben is in a great place both in his recovery and life. He continues to want to be the best father and friend he can be."
