The cast of the highly-anticipated film 'The Batman' starring Robert Pattinson is getting some new names. These new A-listers are more than enough to rile things up and the latest name has done just that. As per reports, actor Matthew McConaughey is reportedly being considered for the role of Two-Face in the upcoming reboot. According to the report in Wegotthiscovered, the character of District Attorney Harvey Dent is slated to appear in the first film. And if the film does well at the box office, then the studios are expected to make a sequel in which the character will get a chance to become the notorious and evil crime boss Two-Face.
That's not all, McConaughey's name comes along in an interesting bag of other names as well. The report reveals that actor John David Washington is also in the running for the role and the studios are yet to give a confirmation. The Robert Pattinson starrer has made headlines for quite a few reasons with netizens widely questioning the choice for the Caped Crusader.
Apart from these names, the makers have so far raked in Big Little Lies star Zoe Kravitz as the Catwoman. Director Matt Reeves had confirmed the news on Twitter with a GIF of Zoe saying "Hello!". Previously, Anne Hathaway played Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises (2012). While Halle Berry was a part of a stand-alone film titled Catwoman (2004), Michelle Pfeiffer played Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992).
