Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth has been riding the high tides with the success of the Marvel release. With his earnings from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Hemsworth was named one of the highest-paid actors of the year. The Aussie star also ventured to the box office replacing his Thor suit with a black suit for Men In Black: International. Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige also recently announced that Hemsworth will be reprising his role as the Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. With so much happening on the professional front, Hemsworth's personal life has taken a toll, a new report claims.
As per claims made by the international publication Life & Style, Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky have hit the rough patch. Sources claim that the actor and his wife are "leading separate lives." Apparently, the couple's problem stems from Chris' busy work schedule. The insider claims that the actor had promised his gorgeous wife that he would take a year-long hiatus from his busy work life to spend time with his wife and family. The couple shares three children together, seven-year-old daughter India Rose, and five-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan.
Given that now the Thor actor has three more projects in the pipeline that need his attention, Elsa is not happy. "She can’t believe he’s gone back on his word!" a source has been quoted in the article. The grapevine adds that the actress has accused Chris of "prioritising movies over their marriage." The insider added, "Sometimes it feels like they’re leading separate lives. The kids miss him too." Not only is Elsa complaining, but it has also been reported that their children have taken notice of his absence."He’s promised to make it up to them with a family vacation but there is still a lot of tension between him and Elsa at the moment," the source said. The couple is yet to address these rumours.
These claims come weeks after Chris and Angelina Jolie were spotted at the Marvel panel of San Diego Comic-Con 2019. For the unversed, the two actors made the headlines over their joint appearance at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. Tabloids claimed that the actress was attracted to the Thor actor. While there have been no concrete pieces of evidence of The Eternals actress's attraction towards the 35-year-old publically.
However, recently, Chris and Elsa were spotted with friends in LA attending the premiere of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
