Avengers: Endgame star Chris Evans recreates 'distracted boyfriend' meme with a fan & we are jealous
Avengers: Endgame actor Chris Evans was at the Ace Comic-Con recently. The actor was seen posing with fans during a meet and greet session.
Raise your hands if you ever remotely thought of dating Chris Evans. I mean, who wouldn't? Have you seen him? The Avengers: Endgame actor is definitely one of the most eligible bachelors in the world. The Captain America actor smiles and I lose my heart all over again. So imagine the green monster creeping out of me when I saw Chris "act" as a distracted boyfriend with a fan. Yes, the photo is breaking the internet. The actor was recently at the Ace Comic-Con with Jeremy Renner and Don Cheadle for a panel.
While the actor spoke about his recently concluded gig as the Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was the meet and greet with fans that is making our hearts sob. A slew of photos of Chris posing with his fans from the Comic-Con made its way to the internet. Fans couldn't stop smiling as they posed next to Evans. However, two fans got extra creative with their photo op. They convinced Evans into recreating the viral meme.
A fan was seen holding Evans' hand (yes, I too wished it was my hand) while Evans turned towards the other fan. He held the Captain America shield in his arm while he recreated the distracted boyfriend meme. The photo was shared by one of the fans in the picture and it went viral like wildfire. Fans went on to express their jealousy over the opportunity while others couldn't stop themselves from making memes of the image. Check out the photo and memes below:
Chris Evans was last seen in Avengers: Endgame. The actor handed over the Captain America shield to Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the MCU. At the Comic-Con, Evans was asked if there was a part of his superhero portrayal the actor had to preserve throughout the series. "That's the challenge, because he's the type of person who always puts himself last. It became such collaboration in terms of trying to preserve his nature. He's kind of a taciturn guy. It's hard to create stories around him. I would rely on the Russos and the Feiges and the Markus and McFeelys to find ways to make him consistent yet entertaining," he said, as reported by SyFy Wire.
