In Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the first 10 minutes shows us what could have been an epic showdown between Hulk and Thanos, as comic book fans would have expected. However, such was not the case! Instead, the powerful villain was able to decimate the big, green monster to a pulp. Thankfully, Heimdall was smart enough to send Hulk back to Earth before he could be completely destroyed by The Mad Titan. In Avengers: Endgame, many were hoping for a rematch where Hulk is able to get his revenge, but the final battle literally had zero Hulk sequences except for the "Avengers Assemble" moment.

The artbook, Avengers: Endgame - The Art of the Movie includes a lot of scenes that didn't even make it to the cutting room floor, given the film's already three-hour duration. One such keyframe art piece was of Hulk finally getting his revenge from Thanos. In the artwork, a reinvigorated Hulk, sans the quantum realm suit is seen punching a shocked Thanos! It would have been a sweet surrender moment for the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fandom who were craving for an angry Hulk since Infinity War. But, such was not the case!
