Avengers: Endgame: MCU fans in China can rejoice as the movie will release earlier in the country
The last Avengers movie, the Avengers: Infinity War, was released worldwide on the same day, but the makers have changed their plan this year with Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame is the most awaited movie of the year and the makers are doing their best to promote their movie. Joe Russo, co-director of the movie will visit India on April 1 and his journey is the part of the Asia-Pacific promotional tour. The movie is all set to release on April 26 worldwide excluding China. The movie which has a worldwide appeal will release not one but two days prior to the release date, i.e. on April 24.
The last Avengers movie, the Avengers: Infinity War, was released worldwide on the same day, but the makers have changed their plan this year with Avengers: Endgame.The same was confirmed when Chinese poster for the film which also sports the new look. The poster showcased that the film will hit Chinese theatres on April 24th and not on April 26th.
There are no reports on why the film will release two days earlier in China, but some reports suggest that the move is Marvel Studios' strategy to tackle piracy.
The above poster is interesting not only because of the release date but also the same confirmed which characters have survived Thanos' deadly snap and who didn't. Earlier this week, character posters of the movies were released. The posters also confirmed that Shuri didn't survive the snap, while Valkyrie did. For the unversed, the character posters which were colourful showcased who all survived the snap and black and white confirmed the fallen.
