Avengers: Endgame is on the run to not just become the most successful film of the year or decade, but pretty much ever! The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film was the perfect swan song for the OG 6 Avengers (Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye). It marked the end of an era while beckoning Phase 4 with new and old superheroes.

When it comes to the global box-office, according to Forbes magazine, Avengers: Endgame has earned $2.749 billion, so far. In North America, the movie collected $1.895 million to add to the $834.503 million. While this is a huge number for the Russo Brothers' directorial, it's still short of $39 million to dethrone James Cameron's Avatar's (2009) lifetime collections. Avatar is the most successful film ever made with $2.788 billion. Avengers: Endgame is re-releasing this week and will contain six minutes of bonus footage, which includes a post-credits scene and a deleted scene as well.
