Avengers: Endgame: Fans are happily making their way to watch the additional footage in the film
The re-release of the film has generated enough curiosity among fans who will definitely look forward to see what's in store for them in the re-release.
Avengers: Endgame on Friday saw its re-release in a bid to achieve the title of the highest grossing film ever made in history. Marvel Studios released a new theatrical print of the film which includes a special tribute, a deleted scene and a teaser of the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home after the end credits. The additional footage makes the film even more exciting to watch for the audience members, even if they have watched the film before. The fans have been waiting for the film's DVD release to watch the scenes that were edited out of the final cut of the film. Also, the behind-the-scenes footage is something the fans always look forward to watching.
Including some of this footage into a re-release will pull the audience members back to the theatres. This re-release is a move to push the film in race to become the highest grossing film of all times across the globe. Currently, this crown belongs to James Cameron's Avatar, which grossed $2.78 billion. Avengers: Endgame's box office collection stands at $2.74 billion at global box office.
The re-release does not really have any competition as such as smaller films cannot compete with this one in any respect. Films like 'Yesterday' and 'Annabelle Comes Home' are releasing but will not be able to take on Avengers: Endgame. This gives the MCU film an edge over the other films and also a chance to over take Avatar's box office collection. The re-release of the film has generated enough curiosity among fans who will definitely look forward to see what's in store for them in the re-release.
