Avengers: Endgame released in April this year and it was a treat for the eyes. From watching almost all the Avengers come together to defeat Thanos to bidding Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow goodbye, there were several moments that left fans teary-eyed. However, there was one question that bothered fans since the Endgame ended: How did Hulk was injured more than Thanos following the snap? Fans now have the answers. Avengers: Endgame Director Joe Russo discussed the reason behind Hulk suffering more than Thanos in the latest ‘Avengers: Endgame - The Art of the Movie book.
Joe explained, “We know how powerful Thanos is by his quick defeat of the Hulk in Infinity War, so this is an incredibly painful experience, to put on the gauntlet that controls the universe.” Joe also added that people should respect the fact that only a part of Hulk’s body was damaged only. "It permanently damages the most powerful beings and some of the most powerful creatures in these movies, and very few people can put that on and survive," he continued.
Well, the reason given by Joe is truly understandable because even Thanos couldn’t be able to bear with the adverse effects of the snap. The impact of the snap was seen at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and at the beginning of Avengers: Endgame. Does Joe Russo's explanation answer your question?
