One of the most shocking moments to come out of Avengers: Endgame, was the change in the physical appearance of the mighty Thor. While Avengers: Infinity War (2018) saw the God of Thunder in his best element yet, the fact that he could not kill Thanos hit Thor hard. What we got in return was a Fat Thor, undergoing depression. Knowing that he was this close to killing Thanos and stopping him from snapping half the universe into mere dust was heartbreaking for the superhero. Hence, he ate his feeling, quite literally!

In an interview with Graham Norton on his popular talk show, The Graham Norton Show, Chris got candid about how the Fat Thor look was achieved. The actor had to slip into a prosthetic latex suit which weighed a staggering 30-40 kgs. "That's my body in six months time," Chris quipped. Hemsworth also revealed that he had a lot of fun shooting as Fat Thor. "I got a lot of cuddles. My wife has had three kids and often, a pregnant lady gets the belly rub in a supermarket. Robert Downey Jr. gave me a fair share of belly rubs. Everyone just wanted to cuddle me. I felt like Santa Claus with Avengers on my lap, from time to time," Chris shared.
