Avengers: Endgame actors Chris Hemsworth & Chris Evans were NOT allowed to do promotions together; Here's Why

It was a memorable summer for Avengers fans as the OG Avengers came together to promote Avengers: Endgame one last time. The stars were seen meeting the press and talking about their journey to Avengers: Endgame. While Marvel Cinematic Universe fans had a ball watching the Avengers have fun, Chris Hemsworth recently revealed his equation with his co-stars. The Thor actor spoke about his relationship with Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans. While he said he shares a good relationship with his Avengers co-stars, Hemsworth revealed he shares a brotherhood with Evans. 

Both the actors have shared an interesting relationship on-screen. Who can forget the hilarious banter over who copied who's look in Avengers: Infinity War. Or that iconic Mjolnir scene from Avengers: Endgame. Off-screen, the Australian actor admits he shares a close bond with Evans. Speaking to Variety, Hemsworth revealed that they had so much fun that they weren't paired together because Hemsworth and Evans would spend the whole time "screwing around." 

“There’s a mentor element with Downey. There’s an incredible friendship with Scarlett and [Jeremy] Renner and [Mark] Ruffalo," he said. "With Chris Evans, I have a real brotherly bond. I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around and none of it is on topic," he added. 

Evans also confirmed that it was true. “We had too much fun together, and truly like kids in school, we were separated because we weren’t getting s— done," Evans revealed. Evans also added that he has an idea for a movie in which they could star together. “I would love to do one of those ’80s buddy comedies, where we could shed the characters we are known for," he added.
