Fans heckling prominent celebrities have become a trend now but some people take it to the extreme. How? By attacking them! That is what happened recently to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hollywood star and former California governor in South Africa. The actor was in South Africa for the Arnold Classic Africa on Saturday. The 71-year-old was seen interacting with his sweet fans and shooting a video when a man drop-kicked him from behind. The Terminator(1984) star stumbled a bit but barely moved.
On the other hand, the attacker fell to the ground and was immediately restrained by a security guard present there. Arnold took to Twitter to talk about the incident and ensured his millions of fans that the actor was alright. Schwarzenegger tweeted, "Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."
Arnold further commented that the fans should rather focus on the athletes who prove that "fitness is for everyone who deserves to be famous."
Schwarzenegger concluded, "And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight. By the way... block or charge?"
Leave it to Mr. Terminator to make light of such an intense situation!
