Anthony Mackie on Avengers: Endgame's ending vs Game of Thrones ending: I'm smelling Emmys for that coffee cup

San Diego Comic-Con 2019 was buzzing with excitement as Marvel Studios Hall H panel gave us a glimpse so as to what to expect from Phase 4's upcoming slate of films and tv series. One of the exciting shows to look out for is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which will star Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie. The co-stars were also a part of Avengers: Endgame, which gave us the climax of a well-rounded decade long MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) journey. Subsequently, in 2019, we also saw the end of the iconic series, Game of Thrones.

Avengers: Endgame was hailed with mostly positive reviews while GOT received mixed reactions for its final season. When Sebastian and Anthony were asked by MTV News as to which end was better - Avengers: Endgame or Game of Thrones, Sebastian proclaimed that it was Endgame. Anthony continued, "Nobody watched Endgame and said 'Man, Did you see that coffee cup?' You must have missed something if the biggest press about your joint is a coffee cup. But, it was great acting by the coffee cup, I'm smelling Emmys for that coffee."

We all know about the coffee cup controversy when Game of Thrones Episode 4 featured one next to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

Meanwhile, Anthony also revealed that he had his first costume fitting as Captain America while Sebastian quipped that he was not invited to Mackie's house. The two were excited to come to Comic-Con 2019 and reveal as to what to expect from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Also starring Daniel Brühl as Zemo, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be available from Fall 2020.
