The Dark Knight Rises actress Anne Hathaway is expecting her second child with her husband Adam Shulman. She announced the good news on social media on Wednesday. Anne and Adam got married in the year 2012. Hathaway gave birth to her first child with Shulman in 2016. Their son, Jonathan Rosebanks, turned 3 years old in March. Currently, Hathaway is filming a remake of the 1990 film The Witches based on Roald Dahl's novel.
Anne took to her Instagram handle and shared a monochromatic mirror selfie with a baby bump. The actress announced her pregnancy and mentioned about her struggle with infertility. She captioned her post as, "It's not for a movie...#2. All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies."
Talking to telegraph back in 2012, Anne said, "I've wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I'm 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size." She further added, "I'll start with one healthy kid but I'd like to have a few naturally and adopt. PI gotta get on it, you know? I'd like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special."
