Angelina Jolie is 'good friends' with ex husband Billy Bob Thornton even 20 years after their split
She might have cut ties with Brad Pitt but Angelina Jolie still talks to her other ex-husband. Billy Bob Thornton recently revealed that he and Jolie are still good friends.
Angelina Jolie may have cut all ties with Brad Pitt, she is still in touch with her other ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton. For the unversed, Jolie was married thrice. She was first married to Jonny Lee Miller and then tied the knot with Billy. Both the marriages lasted for three years, respectively, before Brad and Angelina got together. Ange's second ex-husband is now spilling the beans on his relationship with the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil star since their divorce in 2003.
Attending the Tribeca TV Festival’s presentation of Goliath on Friday, the actor revealed that unlike Angelina and Brad strained relationship, Angelina is still on good terms with Billy. The actor, who married Angelina in 2000, revealed that they keep each other posted about their respective lives, despite their busy schedules. "We’re good friends. We’ve been friends for years and years and years,” the 64-year-old actor revealed, as reported by Us Weekly. "So we keep up with each other. She’s not in town a lot, so we don’t see each other much, but we talk," he added.
Angelina has been in the news due to her son Maddox Jolie-Pitt. Just last month, the actress was seen at South Korea's Yonsei University to drop the 18-year-old lad. Maddox is currently studying biochemistry in the international university. He left jaws dropping when he broke his silence over his relationship with Pitt. The star son, in a video obtained by In Touch Weekly, was asked about his strained relationship with his father. "Well, whatever happens, happens," he said. He was also asked if Pitt would pay him a visit at his college. "I don’t know about that [or] what’s happening," he replied.
