Ana de Armas fans are the real deal! In a recent report by People, it was revealed that two fans of the Knives Out actress had filed a lawsuit against Universal for false advertising as the duo had rented the movie, Yesterday (2019), on Amazon Prime in hopes of watching Armas in action but to their surprise, the actress was nowhere to be found in the movie.

The fans expected to see her in the movie as she was in the trailer but in the final cut, she was erased. All her scenes were deleted from the movie and the duo stated in their lawsuit that they "were not provided with any value for their rental or purchase." The die-hard supporters also allege that Universal engaged in "false, deceptive, and misleading advertising" and they are suing the studio for a minimum of USD 5 million in the place of other affected viewers as well.

The lawsuit states, "Because consumers were promised a movie with Ana De Armas by the trailer for 'Yesterday,' but did not receive a movie with any appearance of Ana de Armas at all, such consumers were not provided with any value for their rental or purchase."

Meanwhile, Ana de Armas fans are ecstatic to see her in new releases. In 2022, the actress has a lot on her plate as she is scheduled to star in Adrian Lyne's Deep Water beside Ben Affleck with Andrew Dominik's Blonde, a movie based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. She is also slated to appear in The Gray Man and Ballerina.
