Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been forgoing royal protocols as a couple since they got married. From keeping their son baby Archie's birth private to not disclosing Archie's grandparents name, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have broken quite a few royal traditions. Meghan's arrival in the royal family was keenly watched by royal fans and the press. And now as per reports, her father-in-law, Prince Charles, inspired by her ability to settle into her new royal life has given Meghan a nickname.

Early on in her first months as the member of the royal family, Meghan was labelled as 'Duchess Difficult' due to reported "dictatorial" relationship she established with royal staff.  However, Prince Charles thinks that Meghan's ability to fit into her royal duties has been praise worthy.

Turns out, Prince Charles has a new monicker for Meghan who he shares a strong bond with. Royal correspondent Russell Myers revealed to Yahoo in a chat show, "They really developed this strong bond. He’s even got a nickname for her. He’s been calling her tungsten, the metal, because she is tough and unbending."

Myers further added, "It’s a bit of a weird one but I think he really respects her. He thinks she has managed to deal with it well. He has had his fair share of bad press in the past, a lot of crisis in his life, so I think he’s trying to get her to navigate the choppy waters of joining the Royal Family."

Meghan and Harry released an official statement on Wednesday stating that baby Archie's christening will be held this Saturday on 6 July and it will be a private affair.
