After Captain America shield, Chris Evans wants to hold the lightsaber in a Star Wars movie; Deets Inside
Chris Evans kissed Captain America goodbye earlier this summer with Avengers: Endgame. The actor now is interested in seeing himself in a Star Wars movie.
The Captains wouldn't mind holding the lightsaber in Star Wars. Unless you've been living under the rock, you would have heard that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is handed the task to develop a new Star Wars movie for Lucasfilms. The producer, who has worked on the Marvel superhero movies and successfully established the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be working his magic on a new Star Wars movie. Since the announcement, fans are recommending actors who should piggyback into the Star Wars world on Feige's shoulders.
Now, a couple of Marvel superhero actors are also taking to social media to express their interest (and subtly letting Feige know) of joining the Star Wars world. First, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson shared a picture holding the iconic lightsaber and standing beside a C-3PO statue. Now, Chris Evans has taken to Twitter to confess he would want to see himself in the upcoming Star Wars movie.
The actor revealed his interest in starring in a Star Wars movie - obviously, the one developed by Feige - when Collider tweeted, "which MCU actor would you like to see pop up in a Star Wars movie?" The actor simply put, "Me." Well, no arguement there. The actor has wrapped his stint as Steve Rogers in Marvel Cinematic Universe and handed over the shield to The Falcon so his hands are free for a lightsaber, just saying!

As for the Star Wars project on Feige's desk, not much is known about the film yet. However, it is rumoured that Feige already has a major star in mind to cast in the movie. This paved the way to speculations and fans posing different recommendations.
