After winning hearts with his performance in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Brad Pitt is now gearing up for his next big film of 2019 Ad Astra. As part of his film's promotions the actor went all out and teamed up with NASA for a never before seen call. Taking to Twitter, The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared a video of the actor speaking to American astronaut Nick Hague in space. Brad, who plays an astronaut in the film, called the International Space Station and interacted with the astronaut asking him a range of questions.
An inquisitive Brad asked Nick about his life up in space and how do they tell the time of the day given that they witness 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets. Brad also asked Nick about India's Chandrayaan 2. The Vikram lander was supposed to land on the Moon but could not due to technical complications. Brad quizzed Nick if he was able to catch a glimpse of it. Nick revealed that he and the team unfortunately could not watch the Vikram Lander closely.
The lander was meant to make a soft and controlled landing near the South Pole of the moon, but lost all communication with ground control, during the final stage of the descent on September 7. Check out Brad Pitt's video call to space below:
Meanwhile, Brad's performance in Ad Astra, which is helmed by James Gray, has been receiving rave reviews. There has been tremendous Oscar buzz for Pitt as well, both in the supporting actor and leading actor categories.
