The singer-actress even had two nominations: one for Best Latin Song for the song I Can’t Get Enough and another one was for Best Dance Song for Taki Taki. This not the first year that she skipped the awards night, she was last seen at the VMAs in 2015. She was seen posing with her bestie Taylor Swift back then. While Swift opened the event with her performance and took home many awards, friend Selena skipped it as she was busy hanging out with her friends. Yes, the Heart wants what it wants singer was attending the Kacey Musgraves' Los Angeles concert with her pals.
Meanwhile, fans of Gomez are super excited as she hinted earlier this month that her break is ending soon. She had posted some snaps from her Italy birthday getaway on Instagram and wrote, "Sometimes I can’t express how truly grateful I am. Now.. Back to work." Gomez apparently will release a "very personal" new music soon.

As per Entertainment Tonight Selena is enjoying her time off before things ramp up again. She may release some new songs this year.
