13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn addresses relationship rumours with Richard Madden?
Brandon Flynn has been linked with Richard Madden for several months now as the two have often been spotted in LA and are reportedly roommates. The actor revealed that he feels his personal life is being scandalized, thanks to the numerous articles.
Richard Madden and Brandon Flynn have been rumoured to be dating for a few months now and are reportedly roommates as well. On more than several occasions, Richard and Brandon have been spotted together in LA, by the paparazzi. Flynn had also accompanied Madden and his family at the French Riviera during Cannes 2019, where Richard's film Rocketman had its premiere. The gossip mill is on a rampage to uncover the relationship status of the pair. Madden had recently addressed the dating rumours with Brandon to the New York Times stating that he likes to keep his "personal life personal."
Just like Richard, Flynn too addressed the relationship rumours with Variety and neither confirmed nor denied it. The 13 Reasons Why star stated that it's hard not feel like something in his personal life is not being scandalized because that is how he feels after reading the headlines about himself, the ones with the big bang to them. When he reads the article, the actor questions why did they write the article in the first place when there is actually nothing there.

"It’s all just something to egg on some sort of rumor cycle that will just keep going around until you finally get something that will actually just make it all true or false. So, it’s hard not to feel scandalized." Brandon added.
Flynn also spoke about Hollywood's double standard when it comes to queer people dating. The actor stated that when they write articles about him, it feels like a slight. "But no one wants to write that article or read that article that would be like, ‘Oh! Brandon is with this person and we are so happy for them!,’" Brandon stated. He feels that there is always something behind the articles, like a scandal that wants to be revealed. It's frustrating and in fact, wouldn't have been there if Flynn were to be with a woman instead.
