Twilight is a 2008 American romantic fantasy film based on Stephenie Meyer's 2005 novel of the same name. The film stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles. The film focuses on the relationship between Bella Swan, a teenage girl, and Edward Cullen, a vampire, who falls in love with Bella (a human). Through the Twilight saga, Edward constantly battles to keep Bella safe from other vampires while he continues to fall in love, marry and start a family with Bella.

1] Stephanie Meyer had the idea for Twilight from her dream. In the dream, she saw a boy and a girl sitting in a field of grass and the boy's skin sparkled.
2] Stewart wore contact lenses in all of the movies because her eyes are naturally green. Her natural eyes did not match Bella's brown eyes from the book.
3] Pattinson had to promise director Catherine Hardwicke that he would keep a distance from Kristen as they had sizzling chemistry and she was just 17 at the time of casting.
4] Pattinson almost quit acting before he landed the role of Edward Cullen.
5] If you thought Bella’s hair looked a bit weird, it is because Kristen Stewart had to wear a wig for Break Dawn Part 1. She chopped her locks for a role in another movie hence the team arranged for a wig.
