Brad Pitt threatens to SUE Straight Pride Parade organizers for making him the mascot?
Brad Pitt's team has reached out Straight Pride Parade organizers demanding to stop using the actor's name to promote the event. The organizers have reportedly claimed Brad as their mascot for the straight community.
Given that we are in Pride month and celebrating the motto of 'love is love', there are some naysayers who are taking the idiotic route and coming up with a Straight Pride Parade. Yes, you heard that right! In what is an opposing response to the LGBTQ Pride Month, a parade was announced to "celebrate the diverse history, culture and contributions of the straight community." According to the website of the community, the organizers have named Brad Pitt as their mascot and even congratulated him for being the "face of this important civil rights movement."
"Straight rights are human rights," the Mascot page claimed as a photo of Brad was put up with ex-wives Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston in tow. According to TMZ, a source close to Brad denied any involvement with the Straight Pride Parade. The actor's team has reached out to the organizers demanding that they immediately stop using Brad's name for promoting the upcoming parade. In case they don't comply with the demand, the team could be looking at suing the organizers as well. The parade is said to take place in August 2019, with the organizers requesting the same route as the Boston Pride Parade.
