Happy birthday to everyone's favourite angel INFINITE's L; Here are 7 of his Kdramas you should watch
INFINITE member L aka Kim Myung Soo celebrates his birthday today! On this occasion, here are 7 of his K-Dramas that made us fall for him even harder!
INFINITE's '92 liner Kim Myung Soo, professionally known as L, celebrates his birthday today. He debuted in 2010 as an idol and soon after in 2011, debuted as an actor. Since then, his image has changed completely.
He has worked in 16 dramas, including cameos and voice acting roles. While listening to his music is a very good way to celebrate this day, we are taking a look at some of his dramas that greatly impacted his acting career.
Jiu: Keishichou Tokushuhan Sousakei
Kim Myung Soo debuted in a Japanese drama. He played the role of Jiu, a criminal. It was slightly awkward yet a very cute start for our birthday boy. Well, who is perfect from the get-go? INSPIRITs might remember him being teased by the members. "I'm here" is a scene from this drama.
Shut Up! Flower Boy Band
He got an important supporting role as the guitarist, the "Ice Prince", of the indie rock band around which the entire story revolves. He gained experience here in main scenes like the one in which he beat the lead character.
My Lovely Girl
Kim Myung Soo was no longer a rookie actor at this point. He was a part of the main cast and formed a love triangle with the characters played by Rain and Krystal Jung. L was an epic tsundere, to say the least.
The Emperor: Owner Of the Mask
Here's when he started showing the neat acting style he’s known for today. He played the second male lead, a commoner with the same name as the king and asked to swap identities. Kim Myung Soo, as Yi Sun, won two of the four awards he was nominated for.
Ms. Hammurabi
Kim Myung Soo's first lead role drama was alongside Go Ara in Ms. Hammurabi and he proved himself worthy of being the elite judge that he played. This is when he started gaining recognition, as a lead actor.
Angel’s Last Mission: Love
This drama won him numerous awards including Best New Actor and the K-Drama Hallyu Star Award at the 33rd KBS Drama Awards. He showed off a variety of emotions and connected brilliantly well with the audience's emotions.
Royal Secret Agent
Kim Myung Soo's latest drama before enlistment, Royal Secret Agent didn't disappoint at all. Sung Yi Gyeom, his character, was brought to life vividly and you can't help but love him. His facial expressions were like emojis and that's a great thing, especially when it comes to comedies.
On this beautiful day, we hope his enlistment passes in a blur and we get to see him on screen again. Till then, best wishes and immense happiness to Kim Myung Soo from Pinkvilla.
