From Han Sung of Hwarang to Kim Bok Joo: 5 characters we wish to have as our classmates in real life

ARMY, Do you remember the very funny Run BTS episode, when Suga dressed as Min Yoonji, long-list sister to Min Yoongi? Well to jog your memory backwards, we had the other six members vying for Yoonji's attention. Taehyung was the class nerd, Jimin the ever-smiling angel, Namjoon, was the nice but slow-witted student, J-Hope played the captivating Korean poet, Jungkook essayed the cold but kind-hearted, desirable student and Jin portrayed the most handsome and attractive student of the class. The boys were so excited to have Yoonji in their class and tried every trick in the trade to woo her. This got me thinking of some of my favourite K-Drama characters, who I wish were my classmates.

From the brave Han Sung of Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth to the lovable Bok Joo of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, the classic bad boy with a heart of gold, Han Seo Jun of True Beauty to the adorable and chirpy, Eun Dan Oh of Extraordinary You and the handsome Lee Suho of True Beauty, again. Here are our top 5 preferences.

1. Han Sung (Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth)

Kim Tae Hyung as Han Sung is lovable and childlike and we wish we had a classmate as sweet and adorable as him. He is also brave, when in the situation to save his friends and brother, he bravely puts a foot forward! We are glad, for he will have our back at all times.

2. Kim Bok Joo (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo)

Lee Sung Kyung as Bok Joo is sassy and fun and has some amazing 'swag'! It would be fun to have a tough and cool classmate like her and join her best friends' trio. One can always rely on her for support and some chicken post-class!

3. Han Seo Jun (True Beauty)

Okey Dokey Yo! The charismatic Seo Jun of True Beauty, played by Hwang In Yeop, is the charming bad boy with a heart of gold we need in our class and our lives! Also, we cannot wait to be best friends with him so that he can give us a pillion ride on his stylish motorbike when we run late for class!

4. Eun Dan Oh (Extraordinary You)

Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan Oh is extremely sweet and lovable and the perfect friend to have. Besides, her fun shenanigans and the magical world of her webtoons will keep us entertained in our mundane school life!

5. Lee Suho (True Beauty)

If we want a Han Seo Jun in our class, we also want Cha Eun Woo as Lee Suho. The handsome and brilliant Lee Suho can be a little strict and aloof but be rest assured, when required he can help us solve some tough math and life problems with ease.
