Aping Hollywood doesn't end for Hindi films just at the level of scripts. Now Hollywood star promotion techniques are being copied here in Bollywood too.
A recently single superstar, who parted ways from his childhood sweetheart, is now being paired up with the current numero uno actress. This heroine has come on her own with super hits and high impact performances in the last couple of years. She also has a star boyfriend, who seems to be arm candy mostly for the shutterbugs!
Their respective management agencies have knocked their heads together and devised a clever 'spotted' strategy, whereby the idea is to get the single superstar & the numero uno heroine clicked & seen at 'dates'. Love be damned of course!
The idea is to position the single superstar as a drool worthy single man, and the numero uno heroine brings in the 'power couple' angle. Clever, no?
Except that some ideas might just be a bit too clever for their own good!
