Guess Who? This newbie producer is duping the financers investing in her upcoming films
Can you guess the producer being mentioned in the blind?
A super hoity-toity producer, who was once a small time actor, is kicking up a storm in Bollywood. The producer in question surfaced on the Bollywood map a few months back and has suddenly become the talk of the town, thanks to the impressive list of films under the production banner and an aggressive PR!
With a host of celebrities agreeing to sign up the producer's movies, the person in the spotlight is the hottest bet. And naturally, the industry folks are happy, with all the money being rolled in. A-list actors have no qualms in working with the producer and the partner, and are making the most of the situation!
But there's a catch! The money that is rolling, which the producer claims it's hers, is actually being funded by the financers based out of cities in India, including Mumbai and Kolkata. The producer has been pumping in money and has been earning a massive profit in return too. But none of the share is going to financers, who are slowly and steadily backing out.
Going by the pace at which the financers are backing out, it surely hints at some massive financial trouble setting in for the producer. But what has surprised us is the fact that none of the actors working with the producer have questioned the lady about the cash that is being invested in their projects and its source!
