Guess Who? - This Bollywood big ticket film to reschedule its release date
Can you guess which Bollywood film's delay are we talking about?
This movie has been in the news - both good and bad - since the time it was announced almost a year back. Directed by one of the most bankable filmmakers of Bollywood, the movie kept the media buzzing with reports about its casting, its release date and the prep its lead actors are making for the film!
With a stellar cast, the film has indeed been one of the most awaited. And though stories of various roadblocks hitting the movie made its way to the press, the crew has been unaffected, in terms of its filming and the deadline.
However, reliable sources tell us that this Bollywood movie will have a tough time keeping its date with the theatres, thanks to the delay it is going through, due to numerous reasons. The shoot of the mammoth film is underway and efforts are being made to speed up the process despite having a perfectionist director. The actors are asked to take lesser breaks and are told to give their best so that minimal takes are shot and the crew is instructed to not waste time in between shots, only to hurry up the process. But our source explains to us that despite all of this, the flick will not be able to wrap its shoot.
While the film's extended crew is kept in the dark about the delay in its release, the close associates of the director, its lead actors and the top officials from the production house know the exact status of the film and the difficulty in matching to its current schedule. Hence a plan B is being made for its release, the announcement of which will only be made closer to the current release date. This is the director's master plan to keep the buzz about the film positive. Also, discussions around the new release date are being worked out and a little birdie has told us that the movie has been shifted ahead by six months.
Though being tight-lipped about the change in the plan might help the crew for sometime, eventually they will have to announce, the change in the release date to keep the curiosity of the fans at bay!
