Mark Tuan dropped a short video teaser on his Twitter and YouTube accounts on March 12. Fans are still figuring out what it means.

GOT7’s Mark Tuan teases fans with a mysterious XC3 video teaser

No announcement, no PR, nothing at all - and Mark Tuan, GOT7’s member, dropped a 22 second teaser of a mysterious project with just the hashtag #XC3 and the date of its release. The video is of a neon-signed box symbol, with a XC3 written in chunky letters, in neown again. It slowly comes into view and fades out again. That is all the teaser is.

This mysterious tweet has fans speculating all over the world what the #XC3 could stand for. The tweet also mentions the date - 03.17.2021. So we know it’s going to be dropped five days from now. But is it an album? A song? A collaboration project? No one knows. A day before this teaser tweet, Mark uploaded a selfie saying - Just dropping by. Hope everyones good! Working on so many things for you guys. We don’t think he was “just” dropping by. In addition to that, his “working on so many things for you” has caught a lot of attention from the fans.

After GOT7 decided to not renew their contract with JYP, each member has been doing his own thing and looking to develop their own talents. Some, like Jugyeong, have started pursuing new talents like acting. But Mark went overseas and worked with the Bangladeshi-American DJ Sanjoy on his latest hit One In A Million. He recently took part in a Twitch livestream with famous streamers and played Minecraft with them.

The fans don’t know what #XC3 stands for, but they’re all looking forward to it. Just like us!
