Flower of Evil: Seo Hyun Woo REVEALS why he felt Lee Joon Gi was a 'martial arts expert' during a fight scene

Flower of Evil has reached its course with the series finale airing a few days back. While the viewers were all praises for Lee Joon-gi's complex act as Do Hyun-soo, so was Seo Hyun-woo, who gushed about his co-star in a recent interview with my Daily via Soompi. For the unversed, Hyun-woo played a journalist named Kim Moo-jin who is also Hyun-soo's childhood friend and Do Hae-soo's (Jang Hee-jin) ex-boyfriend.

Calling Joon-gi and Hee-jin veteran actors, Hyun-woo wondered where the former got all that energy coming from given how cheerful and lively he is. For Hyun-woo, the 38-year-old actor is a person who gives everyone around him great vibes and energy. Whenever Hyun-woo would feel down because of his own shortcomings while acting, Joon-gi would approach him first and comfort him by talking about it. Hyun-woo felt that Joon-gi was someone who led the entire set and everyone on it and as it was the 36-year-old actor's first leading role, he learned a lot from watching the Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo star.

Furthermore, Hyun-woo recalled his basement fight scene with Joon-gi sharing how he was mighty impressed with his co-star. "I was really worried about it, but I ended up being grateful to Lee Joon-gi. As befit his 'action expert' title, he made it possible for me to film the scene safely." the A Boy and Sungreen star recounted to My Daily and added, "I really received a ton of help from him. The scene involved strangling, and I felt like I was acting together with a martial arts expert. He knew how to make it look real without hurting me at all. That’s the kind of acting he was capable of."
