Neil Nitin Mukesh on celebrating New Year with wife Rukmini - It was different with butterflies in the stomach
Neil Nitin Mukesh tied the knot with the lovely Rukmini Sahay over various wedding festivities in February, 2017. The lovely couple chanted their wedding vows in the lovely city of Udaipur. The two celebrated their first New Year this year as a married couple.
Neil Nitin Mukesh tied the knot with the lovely Rukmini Sahay over various wedding festivities in February, 2017. The lovely couple chanted their wedding vows in the lovely city of Udaipur. The wedding was attended by close friends and family. However, the family threw a grand reception in Mumbai for their B-town friends.
Yesterday, we got a chance to meet Neil at the calendar launch of Dabboo Ratnani. We asked him how was it celebrating his first New Year with wife Rukmini. To this, elated Neil told us, "Well, it was amazing and this was my first new year with Rukmini. Technically second, but as a married couple, it was our first new year. It was nice with family, but this time it was different with butterflies in the stomach."
Neil had earlier spoken about his lovely wife saying that it was an arranged marriage. He had said, "There’s nothing shocking about it. Sometimes we overlook things, which our parents don’t and it’s coming together of two families. And when you look into detailing, it makes more sense. It’s a strong foundation."
He had also mentioned that Rukmini was concerned about him being an actor. He had said, "She was slightly concerned initially about the whole ‘actor thing’, but when she met me, she was very comfortable. Right now she is meeting my friends and family. It will take her time to get used to the industry we belong to. I am sure that they (industry people) will make her feel extremely welcomed and warm. Whoever has met her has loved her and she has liked them too. It’s like meeting new friends and bonding with them."
